Mississippi Department of Archives and History
They have a great resource database including a library collection and catalog, online archives and electronic records. They also have listings of Museums and Historic sites and those that under Historic Preservation.
Mississippi Public Records - You can order birth, death and marriage certificates online. Birth and death certificates are available from 1912 forward, while marriage certificates are available January 1926 to July 1, 1938, and from January 1942 forward. Information on how to order these vital records and the fees are disclosed on this site.
